Hi, I’m Amy and I’m 21. I am interested in the Manchester Met Fashion degree simply because I love to make and design clothes. Recently I’ve been spending my time; designing and making dresses which I sell online, fashion blogging and adding to my portfolio. I am hoping to study at degree level to enhance my knowledge and skills in fashion and because I am determined to follow some sort of course. fashion career path. Currently I’m trying to establish a fashion label; I know that sounds very ambitious but I am very enthusiastic, hardworking and competent in the projects I choose to pursue. If you would like to know more about what I am currently doing then my blog is like a fashion diary I keep. Clicking on the link below will take you straight there.
The work I have submitted as part of a digital portfolio is only examples of my drawing and creative ability. I enjoy illustrating and designing so much I do it more or less everyday which I then add to my portfolio. I have included images of my own style of hand drawn illustration and Cad illustrations. There are also images of the three fashion modules I completed last year as part of a foundation fashion degree at my local college. The images show the initial design process, ideas and development, the final illustration boards and the manufactured garments. There are lots more pictures I would have loved to post onto the blog but hopefully what I have shown you is what you are looking for on your course.
